The latest edition of Google Maps for Mobile, intended for BlackBerry models, can now be controlled by voice, at least regarding its search feature. The application, currently available for BlackBerry Pearl 8110, 8120 and 8130 models has a very easy to use voice-based search. One just has to say out loud the search term , like "pizza" while keeping the handset's left key pressed, and after releasing the button the software automatically lists nearby pizza parlors. The new software can be downloaded from Google's site at http://www.google.com/gmm.
