OpenMoko FreeRunner, a phone with a really strange shape, might soon be launched with Android OS as well, in accordance with previous rumors. The launch date and price of the handset are not yet known, but sources close to the manufacturer have reported that the general availability is not far. The 120.7 x 62 x 18.5 mm large handset sports a 2.8", 480 x 640 pixels large touchscreen display, a 400 MHz Samsung CPU, 128 MB of RAM and 256 MB Flash memory, expandable with a microSDHC card of up to 16 GB in size. Other features include a 1200 mAh battery, stereo Bluetooth, GPS, WLAN, and GPRS and EDGE support.
