Samsung SDI has recently announced its mobile phone prototype equipped with a foldable display, which has a huge AM-OLED display instead of the usual screen+QWERTY keyboard combo. The screen has a vivid display video playing on it. When taking a closer look at the display we can see that the flexible panel is practically made of two AM-OLED screens, placed very close to each other, having a very slight border between them. The solution, even though it's not perfect, looks really good, so the time of small phones with really large displays might be close.
