Data transfer, battery, conclusion

The offer of data transfer protocols is something we would expect in this category. We shouldn’t be even dreaming of 3G, but the GSM module is quad-band. Internet access is available only through GPRS, there is no EDGE support. There is Bluetooth, however, I couldn’t find any information about its version number, but I suspect it’s 2.0. There is no standard USB connector on the phone, but it can function as a Mass Storage device on the PC with the help of its data cable, so we can easily copy some MP3 ringtones on it, as it supports them.

As I have already mentioned at the exterior part, the phone has a 930 mAh battery. It had a fair performance; I only had to charge it after 4 days of moderate use. However listening to the radio through the loudspeaker has a drastic effect on battery power, I think it can take it no more than a couple of hours in such conditions.

Conclusion: as you can see, we won’t like R300i because of its knowledge. Its camera is worthless, it has no music player, its display has low resolution, and its memory cannot be expanded, so there’s nothing impressive. However its exterior looks really cool, the quality of assembly is all right too, there is no problem with its size, so this is all right. Although its price is not yet known, we expect it to be really cheap, so I can recommend it for those who would like a good-looking low-category phone. And if they would like to listen to the radio too…
