Phone calls, data transfer
Software related to phone calls are nothing new. We can store information about 1000 people in the contact list, there are quite a lot of extra fields. We can save 500 text messages, while multimedia messages and emails are stored on the internal memory – yes, we have an email client, it supports IMAP servers with authentication. The call log can display received/dialed/missed calls on the same list or separately.
Fortunately I can say nothing bad about sound quality, even more M7500 is pretty good in this matter. The situation is similar on the handsfree speaker, as there is a large one between the wings of the eagle on the back, which provides an appropriate quality for the voice of our partner.
The data communication repertoire is quite good for this category, as besides the quad-band GSM module (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) we have 3G support as well, which means that the Samsung has a Qualcomm chipset – if this means anything to you. We can use GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and up to 3.6 Mbps HSDPA for data transfer, and there is of course no WiFi, but there is Bluetooth, version 2.0 and it supports stereo sound transfer.
