Other, conclusion
Nüvi doesn’t function well only as a navi, but as a Bluetooth car kit too, and in an exceptionally good manner. The device can function as a mini radio transmitter, so our phone can also be heard through our car speakers, not just the navi’s own speaker, in case the car radio is set to the frequency used by the navi. It’s a brilliant idea, although sometimes there can be conflicts with radio stations.
Above all these we can find currency and unit converter, MP3 and audio book player, picture viewer and a dictionary, which can pronounce words. We can also combine this with the map, thus it can pronounce street names.
At the moment of writing the article the price of nüvi 760 is ~390 EUR, with full Europe map included. This is a bit more than devices with similar features, but if we consider the extraordinary display, TMC support and the quality of the device, I just can’t resist giving it a “Highly recommended” award. If I would have to buy a navi now, I would be sure to buy this one. Or to put it differently: if I would design it, it would look just like this.
