ZTE: Linux and WM models for China

Although ZTE has mostly cheap models in Europe and the United States, which are usually launched under the network operator's brand, they are a big name in China and they are also trying to expand in Japan as well. The Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional models, Xiang and Raise, announced at the Wireless Japan 09 technical expo, feature HSPA support, and GPS and WLAN modules. The smaller handset sports a 3.2 megapixel camera and a 2.5" display, while Raise has a 3.2" display with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera. Besides the Windows phones they have also came up with a Linux-based CDMA device as well, which has a 2 megapixel camera, WLAN and GPS support and a microSD memory card slot as well.
