HP, once really active in handheld devices, has recently decreased the amount of new handsets and they usually don't have any groundbreaking ones. iPAQ K3, pictured below, also known as "Obsidian", is expected in late November and it's not the best one on the market, but it's still good to see that the manufacturer is still present, even though they have somewhat conservative models. The 117 x 68 x 13.5 mm large handset features a 2.6", 320 x 240 pixels large touchscreen, a full QWERTY keyboard, 3.6 megabit HSDPA support, WLAN, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, a 2 megapixel camera, Windows Mobile 6.5 as an operating system, a microSD memory card slot, a 1,400 mAh battery, a 528 MHz CPU and 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM. According to the internal information from AT&T the most important feature of the handset is the comfortable keyboard and the powerful hardware, which could make the device replace even a laptop if necessary.
