Sony Ericsson W302: Metallic elegance

Sony Ericsson is paying more and more attention for the mid-range phones, which is visible on the new Walkman phones too that are intended for a wider audience. The handsets with a lower price have an aluminum front cover that provides a feel of quality. The Walkman that is only 10.4 mm thick has many characteristics of cheaper models. The 2" display with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels is of course enough for such a cheap handset and the 2 megapixel camera with fixed fouces is enough for many people to record some memorable moments. The phone's base package is not as rich as other phones', but there still is a 512 MB SD card and a stereo headset included. Another available feature is the TrackID track recognition service and the built-in handsfree, but shake control is now not available due to the lack of gravitational sensors. The 100 x 46 x 10.5 mm large handset weighs 78 grams and provides 7 hours of talk time or 10 hours of music playback with one charge. Music can also be played back through a stereo Bluetooth headset. Sony Ericsson W302 is expected to come by the end of the year at a yet unknown price.
