Sony Ericsson W902 is here

By announcing Sony Ericsson W902 it seems that the manufacturer is trying to bring down the artificial marketing wall they have built between Walkman and Cyber-shot models. The aim of W902 Walkman is to end all compromises, just like the company's promotional materials say. As we know the Walkman series willfully lacked autofocus cameras, which was evidently done to let the Cyber-shot handsets live. The new W902, however, has a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and it even has the BestPic and Photo fix features from Cyber-shot models. The handset of course still wants to bring new things in music, which is not only due to the 8 GB M2 card that can store up to eight thousand tracks, but thanks to the new sound solutions there is a crystal clear stereo sound and powerful bass and the manufacturer also packs a premium headset with the phone. Shake Control is also features, along with TrackID and SenseMe solutions. Although there is no GPS receiver in the phone, it can setill geo-tag pictures based on cell info and Google Maps is also available. The 110 x 49 x 11.7 mm large handset, weighing 99.8 grams, has a 2.2" TFT display with 262 thousand colors and the full HTML browser can be used on both EDGE and HSDPA networks. The newcomer will be launched only by the end of the year and no official price has been disclosed yet.
