Sony Ericsson has further expanded their series of cheap phones with K330. The newcomer has a more elegant design then previous "K" series phones. The 1.7", 128 x 160 pixels large display is now a TFT, which, in spite of its small size, has a better picture than UBC and cSTN screens, used earlier. The greatest multimedia attraction of the phone is the camera, which is only a VGA (640 x 480), which lets 250 pictures or 10 minutes of video to be recorded in the 10 MB of memory. The phone has Bluetooth, GPRS and WAP support, can send and receive MMS messages and has Java too. The non-expandable internal memory can also store MP3 and video ringtones. The phonebook can have 1000 entries, 450 SMS messages can be stored, there is a stereo FM radio, and the handset can also be used as a flashlight. The 100 x 45 x 12 mm large Sony Ericsson K330, weighing 75 grams, is expected to be launched before September.
