This year is undoubtedly the year of metallic phones for the Korean manufacturer, and it seems that optical zooming won't remain an exclusivity of high-end phones. Samsung L700, pictured below, has its case completely made of brushed steel, which provides an elegant design for the handset. Besides the Power-LED with triple brightness there is only a 2 megapixel camera, but the "7.5 - 26.3 mm" label on the lens suggests optical zooming. The 3.6 megabit HSDPA-enabled pones has an FM radio, stereo Bluetooth support and a microSD slot. The launch date of the 190 x 46 x 12.8 mm large metal-beauty is not yet known.
