It looks like we have not one, but two touchscreen Philips phones today. We have been reporting recently on Xenium X800 that is intended as an "opponent" for Apple iPhone. X800 falls in the mid-range, based on its features: it has a huge, 2.9" touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels, a 2MP camera with autofocus, microSD slot, stereo Bluetooth support and up to 8 hours of talk time, that is 35 days of standby time. Unfortunately there is not much to be proud of in terms of data transfer, as not even EDGE is supported, but in turn the phone can display Word, Excel and PDF files. The price of Philips Xenium X800 is not yet known and unfortunately we don't know if it is planned to be launched on the European market.
