The most successful web browser on the mobile market is undoubtedly Opera Mini, which, thanks to the network in the background, can display full web pages on the screens of even the simplest mobile phones. The key to the success of the Java-based browser are the servers in the background, which recompress and prepare complex web pages for the phone, so displaying them means the least amount of data transferred and it doesn't require a high computation capacity either. On the occasion of this year's Mobile World Congress, Yahoo! and Opera Software have announced that the popular alternative browser will soon be available from the Yahoo! Mobile site. Before the announcement, one of the largest network operators in the world, Vodafone group, has also announced that a version of Opera Mini, tailored to the network carrier's needs, will be installed on all phones sold by them.
