One million iPhone 3G S sold in three days

Most manufacturers would probably be loathed for selling phones with an design unchanged since three years and hardware specs much weaker than of the rivals', but the situation is different in the case of Apple models. The new iPhone 3G S has a faster CPU, a digital compass and finally a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera that can record videos at 640 x 480 pixels, but its successful design didn't change at all.

Of course why should it be changed if it sells like hot bread? In only three days, one million copies of iPhone 3G S have been sold and even more, the iPhone 3.0 update has been downloaded by over 6 million people. Apple's product strategy that focuses on the comfortable user interface is still highly successful, and this might make some manufacturers consider that instead of tons of different models with almost the same features, gigapixel cameras they might launch less phones, but with a better user interface and proper product support, as this could mean serious cost cutbacks and huge profits.
