To our greatest surprise Alcatel had a full QWERTY keyboard handset at their tent. Of course it's not a smartphone, just a low-end model focusing on messaging, but it's still interesting.

The phone's codename is OT-800, the specs mention a 2.2" QVGA TFT display, 20 MB of onboard memory, a microSD slot, a 2 megapixel camera, a POP3/IMAP4-compatible email client, Java HTML browser (Opera Mini) and GPRS for data transfer besides Bluetooth 2.0. We say that the design is rather good, so we're curiously waiting for the handset's launch.
