LG GC900 Viewty Smart on video

The new LG Viewty has improved in nearly every aspect, it can be criticized only for its display size and the lack of a xenon flash.

Due to a small technical failure, all details of LG GC900 have been revealed recently, so the official announcement has been spiced up with a demo video. The worthy successor of LG Viewty has a huge, 800 x 480 pixels resolution display, but its 3" diagonal might make the use of screen elements and the virtual QWERTY keyboard a bit hard. The handset, having an 8 megapixel autofocus, opposed to its predecessor, has only a LED flash. Otherwise we can't complain about the phone, as it features a GPS receiver, WLAN and stereo Bluetooth, 7.2 megabit HSDPA support and 1.5 GB of internal memory that can be expanded with a microSDHC card of up to 32 GB in size. The only 12.4 mm thick handset is expected to be launched in may at European network operators at a yet unknown price.
