Motorola presented its definitely cheap handsets, which lack any unnecessary features and are only made for phone calls and FM radio. All of the devices are GSM 900/1800 or GSM 900/1800 compliant, with FM radio and a USB 1.1 connector. The latter one is possibly good for ringtone downloads and synchronization only, as the phones have no camera. All handsets have a 128x128 pixel resolution display, but while the W181 can display 65.000 colors, the W161 is only black and white. It is yet unknown when the cheap models will be available and at what price. Furthermore it is also unknown why did Motorola debut with his cheap solutions at the presentation of devices with astonishing multimedia features.
