Ericsson and Italian 3 Italia have demonstrated on a commercial network the 5.8 megabit upload speed on HSPA network. The increase of the upload speed and decrease of network delay are very important in increasing the user experience. Thanks to the high upload speed pictures and videos can be shared rapidly on cell phones via email or community portals. The decrease of network delay will have a positive effect on online games and video conferences too. It is not yet known when will Ericsson's new solution be availabe for users.
