The embedded 16GB capacity iNAND module based on MLC NAND technology was made to serve the constantly growing need of mobile devices for storage space and performance. SanDisk's embedded Flash memory has a size of only 12x16 mm, just like the previous 8GB edition and they are expected to release a 32GB one this year. The huge capacity iNAND modules might be the internal memory of devices specialized in multimedia and navigation, where the fast access of maps and multimedia content is extremely important for users. For the time being SanDisk didn't reveal any details regarding the speed and price of the modules developed exclusively for companies.
