    "You are correct to try the soft reset process, but let's try this process since that failed (by itself):
    I would try clearing your cookies and such first: Settings > (slide to right or left to) Applications > Internet Explorer, then click on the "delete history" button. This will clear your cache.
    While you're on this screen, make sure you have at least the top option "Allow cookies" is checked.
    Now tap the back (arrow left) button to get back to the main setting screen.
    Now slide over again (right or left) to System, and make sure Airplane Mode is "Turned Off".
    Now try a Soft Reset (press and hold power button until "Goodbye" on screen.
    Restart the phone. Once the system is back up, take your finger and drag down from just above the top of the screen. This will reveal your current configuration. Make sure you have a good 3G signal. If you don't have a signal, try using WiFi.
    Now, before you do anything else, go directly into MarketPlace and see if you can access it.
