It looks like Toshiba wants more than launching TG01, which promises more than any other handset, but they are making a new device as well, although this will be a clamshell. It is not yet known how did it happen, but in the documents of TG01 on the FCC website, the name and specs of a yet unknown clamshell have appeared. Toshiba TM5-E01, expected to be announced soon, seems to be another powerful device, as it has a Snapdrgaon processor, just like its predecessor, while it features 512 MB ROM and 256 MB RAM, its operating system being Windows Mobile 6 Professional. The newcomer also has a WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) display, although this time its diagonal is "only" 3". The camera's resolution is not yet known, but WLAN, GPS and stereo Bluetooth are surely present, just like 3G support, a miniUSB connector and a microSD slot. The only problematic feature of the phone is its size, as the 117 x 64 x 19.8 millimeters and its weight of 183 grams are quite a lot for a clamshell.
