Three million HTC Diamonds to be sold this year

According to information from Chinese Commercial Times, Peter Chou, HTC's head, has increased the planned sales of HTC Diamond for this year from two million to three million. Although the handset is coming at a quite high price, with the 4 GB of non-expandable internal memory and the battery with a capacity of only 900 mAh it still has every chance to reach the planned sales. The 2.8", 480 x 640 pixels large sharp display, the 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, the 528 MHz CPU, 128 MB RAM and 256 MB ROM, the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system (enhanced with the Touch 3D interface), the 7.2 megabit HSDPA and WLAN support, along with the built-in GPS make it an exceptionally feature-full phone. The 102 x 51 x 11.33 mm large handset, weighing 110 grams, is elegeant enough to attract even those who don't prefer smartphones.
