Normally, operator branding is simply the case of putting an operator logo on a handset, and adding operator-exclusive themes and wallpapers. This is not the case however, for HTC's Diamond handset - it will have an identical twin of sorts – the MDA Compact IV, with the addition of a full QWERTY keyboard, and the designing on the back of the handset is more smooth compared to the rigid lines on the regular Diamond handset.The phone weighs 58 grams, has a 480 x 640 display, a 528 MHz CPU, 256 MB RAM, built-in GPS receiver, Bluetooth and WLAN support, stereo FM radio and a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera. The handset is expected to be announced in June by HTC and T-Mobile.
