The Sony Ericsson digital photo frame is here

Hirdetés

Sony Ericsson announced their first digital photo frame that allows us to view photos taken with a phone to be viewed at a larger size and resolution. The 7" WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) display provides a much higher resolution and image size than the screen of a cell phone and it can even automatically rotate pictures. IDP-100, equipped with 128 MB of internal memory doesn't only support M2, MS Duo, microSD and SD cards, but it can receive files even via Bluetooth and it can even handle 8.1 megapixel images taken by the camera of Sony Ericsson C905. The images get resized automatically, while the Digital Image Correction (DIC) algorithm takes care of proper color, edge and tint settings. Instead of a remote control the device can be controlled trough touch-sensitive zones and menus, which provide a comfortable use. The 205 x 145 x 25 mm large photo frame, weighing 320 grams has a 200 cd/m2 display and in case of a 50 percent backligh it has a lifetime of about 10.000 hours. The price of the dark grey IDP-100, coming at the end of the year has no price-tag revealed yet.
