Strange phone concept

Zinc Chan, a designer from London, has thought of this really strange-looking phone below, called Icono. The handset itself is a large, rounded square device, which looks mostly like a portable DJ set and its use is similar too: one has to perform predefined stroking motions on the large touchscreen in order to call contacts assigned with the motion. The microphone and the speaker are two separate parts, which have to be pulled on the pinky and the thumb, thus showing the international "call me" sign during calls. The phone doesn't rely on futuristic technologies (in spite its design), so it might even become reality once.
