Is it possible that the recently announced Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is not the child of the Japanese-Swedish manufacturer? According to Engadget the suddenly arrived Windows Mobile-based smartphone was actually made in the workshop of HTC. The news is not impossible, as HTC's leader has pointed out earlier that the company will produce a greater number of phones for Sony Ericsson, but we didn't know any details back then. Another suspicious moment is, that at the press conference Sony Ericsson couldn't really give an explanation for the company deciding in favor of Windows Mobile, while the Japanese-Swedish corporation invests huge amounts of money in the Symbian UIQ platform.
