A Sony Ericsson PlayStation phone has been a hot topic on web forums for a long time now, as there are information being passed around about its existence for years. The rumors are probably based on the fact that the Japanese-Swedish manufacturer likes very much to use Sony brands, like Walkman, Cyber-Shot or Bravia, although this latter is used only in Japan. Based on these, it would be logical to make use of the PS brand too. According to some fresh news this brand name is still not included in Sony Ericsson's portfolio, but an "F" series ("Fun") might be launched soon, that is designed especially for gaming. Its first member might be a low- to mid-range handset equipped with stereo speakers. The first "game console", designed for two-hand gaming and landscape use is expected to come at June 17 under the name F305.
