Seiko announced their latest heat-paper printer, the portable SDU-S445. The device, capable of making 10 cm-wide prints, has a battery and can receive data via Bluetooth or an infrared port. Thanks to the ink-less, straight-to-paper printing, the printer is very small, it's size is only 145 x 135 x 59 mm and it still can print 90 mm/s at a resolution of 203 dpi. The device with a price of $300 USD will at first be available only in the United States.
