It has been known for a while that the QuickOffice suite will soon be available for iPhone as well, but the launch date and pricing were not known. Exact details of the final version have been revealed at CTIA 2009. The software suite, providing MobileMe iDisk access supports Word and Excel files, plus it can open PDF and PowerrPoint documents as well. Besides the advanced formatting, calculation and editing features, one of the new functions of the software package is automatic saving and restoring, which protects against accidental data loss. The full software suite is available for 19.99 dollars, while Quicksheet, supporting only Excel files, and Quickword with only Word document file support are available for 12.99, and QuickOffice Files, providing WLAN and MobileMe iDisk synchronization (also known as MobileFiles 2.0) will have a price of 3.99 USD.
