The NXP and the Purple Labs announced their cheap Linux-based 3G phone, which is to debute with price under 140 dollars. The specificaitons of device based on the NXP Nexperia 7210 3G platform are still unknown, the only things known are the Linux operating system, the 3G support, the 208 MHz clocked ARM9 processor and the fix 128 MB memory. The new arrival expectably will be available in some regions of Asia and Eastern-Europe, but arrival time is unknown as we don't know which providers are going to engage it into their supply.
