The special feature of both covers is, that they place a transparent, but rigid surface (based on „Surface Xylo Wave” technology) in face of the touchscreen. This surface passes ultrasonic waves that pass over the touch screen panel and transfer them to the screen without any interferences. This patented technology makes the creation of such cases possible that are completely rigid and keep the touchscreen in perfect safety. Knowing this, the price of Ivyskin Xylo T2, $35 USD, doesn't seem much at all. The case developed by Case-Mate - which has been announced after Ivyskin, no matter they say they were the first - protects the phone in almost invisible manner.
