After the previous rumors the Finnish giant has officially announced the Polar pulse meter, being a base accessory for a special edition Nokia N79. Nokia N79 Active Pack features a Polar WearLink pulse meter and a band for easy fastening, which protects the phone during sports. The new edition, just like the original one, comes with a 4 GB memory card, a USB cable, a 3.5 mm stereo headset and changeable back covers. The Symbian Series 60 handset will have access to the new version of Nokia Sports Tracker, which let us store and share recorded results and routes. Besides Active pack, the black N79 has been announced as well, which comes with dark grey, metal grey and deep plum colored intelligent back covers, which means that the menu's color changes as we put on one of them. Nokia N79 Active pack, coming on a not yet announced date, will cost 375 euros, which costs only 25 euros more than the base model.
