The elegant phone, using rounded shapes, has the impression of a mid-range device, which is further emphasized by the microUSB charger and the 128 x 160 pixels large color TFT display. The 8 MB of memory and the lack of a camera are an evident sign that this is only a basic model. The 108 x 44 x 13.5 mm large Nokia 1006, weighing 76 grams, is expected to be available only on the United States CDMA market, but its price is not yet known.
