Palm has officially announced that their completely redesigned operating system, that has originally been planned for mid-2007, than postponed for Q4 2008, will be further delayed. Palm OS "Nova", rewritten to the tiniest detail, will be launched in June 2009, according to the new plans, which is also the launch date for the first Palm "Nova"-based handset. Palm currently has to offer Windows Mobile solutions too, besides their own Palm OS v5.4m "Garnet" handsets.
