We have posted previously that LG has announced yesterday their new touch-optimized menu system called S-Class UI, which is to show up first on the KM900 Arena. At the company's booth there have been four Microsoft Surface devices - or at least we think they were these -, where everyone had a chance to try the features that he or she might have missed at the press conference.
This method doesn't really show the speed, the system works much better on the KM900, not like on the video below - we could say that it's iPhoneish. Fortunately the new system is great in terms of design and usability as well, which is even better since the solution announced on Prada hasn't been perfect from these points of view. Scrolling, images, effects - these are the three words that characterize S-Class. It's important to note that the Windows Mobile-based KM730 doesn't have this system, in that case the Today plugin has this name, but that unfortunately doesn't behave nearly as fast as the original system, the user experience is much poorer.
