The Motorola V9 clamshell's GPS edition will first be available at American AT&T, coming with the network operator's proprietary navigation solution. Clamshells are usually hard to use for navigation, as they don't really fit in a docking station when opened up, but Motorola V9, thanks to its large 2" external display, can be used even when closed. The AT&T Navigator service, including detailed maps and voice navigation, will of course be available only in the United States on Motorola's enhanced phone. It is not known when will Motorola V9x will be available in Europe and at which network operator.
