The idea of a communication device embedded in a watch is not the best thought ever, but for a long time only smaller Chinese manufacturers have produced such things that were very large, had few features and usually they were uncomfortable to use. LG's watch phone is also much larger than a usual watch, but its thickness of 13.9 mm, the metallic surfaces providing a premium design and its elegant look can still make it popular. In Europe it will first be available at Orange. The mobile, having a 1.43" touchscreen display, 7.2 megabit HSDPA support, video calling, stereo Bluetooth, built-in handsfree and LG's intuitive Flash user interface makes usage easier by reading out text messages loud and by featuring advanced voice commands. It is not yet known in what countries and at what price will the watch-phone be available.
