Meebo has announced its instant messaging application for Android-based phones. Installing the free software is extremely simple, it just have to be searched for in the Android Market menu on T-Mobile G1. The software called Meebo can run in the background, staying active when the user is doing other things. In this case sound alarm and a small icon in the status bar are enabled, in order to warn of received messages. The software can be seen in function on the video below.
