Fring has only been available on Windows Mobile and Symbian before. It provides comfortable access to Skype, Google, ICQ, MSN, Twitter, AIM and Yahoo services almost everywhere. Fring, however, is not only capable of sending messages, but it handles Skype and other SIP-based internet voice calls through 3G or WLAN networks. As we know both iPhone and iPod Touch have a built-in WLAN module, so with the appropriate software we have the green light for free calls, even on an iPod Touch. The latter one, however, needs a separate microphone, as the device doesn't support iPhone's headset microphone. The only problem with the service is that it can only be installed on hacked Apple devices.
