The idea of phones embedded in a watch is nothing new. We could have seen numerous such solutions and we have even reviewed one of them. A common thing in them used to be the lack of a conventional keypad and the unusably small touchscreen. Cool G108 is completely different from this point of view. We could say: it is a clamshell watch phone. When closed, the device shows current time, battery level and signal strength on a small screen. Besides the tiny display there is a 1.3 megapixel camera too, which can only be used after opening the phone. When opened, the watch gives the impression of a conventional cell hpne, not considering its circle-shaped keypad. The main display of the device has a 1.5" diagonal and it can display 262 thousand colors at a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and it can play back even videos. The Bluetooth-enabled phone has an internal memory of 0.5 MB, but fortunately it can be expanded with a microSD card. The quad-band phone, with GPRS support, has a size of 51 x 51 x 20 mm, weighs 65 grams and it doesn't look either small, or comfortable to wear, but it's worth mentioning due to its shape and design.
