One of the greatest downside of touchscreen solutions is that it's very easy to tap at a wrong place on the flat surface, which is even worse when in a moving vehicle. In this case the use of the otherwise comfortable UI can become a really hard thing. Apple, as the master of touchscreen interfaces, has of course a solution for this problem too. The manufacturer's latest patent describes a solution that could evaluate environmental conditions with a motion sensor and dynamically change the size of buttons, menus and icons if the device is shaking, so the user interface remains easy to use. Of course such a solution would be a great thing, but if it's not properly designed, the moving screen elements could also become annoying if the sensor is too sensitive. The picture below also reveals a frontal camera, so video calls might soon become a feature of the handset.
