Android invasion at T-Mobile

Hirdetés

T-Mobile is to launch many new Google Android handsets this year. Cole Brodman, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer, has told GigaOm that there will be phones from three suppliers available at the network operator. The primary supplier is of course HTC, which had its T-Mobile G1, or HTC Dream, model reach sales of over one million. This is being followed by HTC G2, or "Magic", also called "Sapphire" and G1 v.2, aka "Bigfoot". Samsung i7500, aka "Houdini", will also be available from T-Mobile, but there are only suppositions about the third company, this possibly being Huawei, who had a mysterious Android model displayed at Mobile World Congress. Besides these T-Mobile could imaginge Google's open system on netbooks, internet tablets and home phones as well, but there are no specific details available about these.
