Together with the American launch of Nokia 5800, the client software for Amazon Video On Demand (currently available only in the United States) has also been announced. The online service, providing access to nearly forty thousand movies and TV shows cannot be accessed directly from the Symbian Series 60 Touch phone, but first the Amazon client application has to be installed on a computer, which will then copy the required contents on the mobile phone. Thanks to the high-speed HSDPA and WLAN support there is practically no reason why to make this procedure so complex, which might become available for direct purchase from the phone when Ovi Store launches. Nokia 5800 XpressMusic features a 3.2", 640 x 360 pixels large touchscreen display, very loud stereo speakers and TV out as well.
