According to TechCrunch, Palm is already working hard on its second webOS device, which will be smaller, more compact and thinner than its predecessor. The handset, expected by this fall, won't have a hardware QWERTY keyboard. Currently there is nothing sure about the rumor, although omitting the slider form factor would be a logical thing, as this would reduce not only the handset's thickness, but also the production costs. The specifications of the device, targeted at "different kinds of users", are not yet known.
