The Finnish manufacturer is about to launch their Nokia Comes With Music campaign, which means one years of free and unlimited music downloads when purchasing certain kinds of phones, the free period being expandable for both the user's phone and computer. An additional fee has to be paid in order to burn the 192 kbps (or 128 in case of older tracks) quality DRM copyrighted WMA tracks to a CD, but the downloaded tracks can be moved to another Nokia phone. The first to join Nokia's Comes With Music campaign was Universal Total Music, followed by Sony BMG at the end of April. With Warner Music the three largest publishers have joined Nokia's solution. It is not yet known what kind of plan will be used to extend music downloads after the one year period, but one method will surely be the purchase of a new handset. It is also not known what kind of Nseries devices will come with this new solution.
