Belkin's TuneCast is the first accessory to be created specifically for the iPhone 3.0 system. The interesting feature of the FM transmitter is that it can select a broadcast frequency (based on the phone's location) that can be used for transmitting music from the phone to the car radio as clearly as possible. The device doesn't search for the clearest frequency on a trial and error basis, but uses the free ClearScan Live application to make use of GPS coordinates in order to search an online database, which contains frequencies recommended by other users. The accesory is expected to be launched this fall at a price of $80 dollars.
