Plantronics Explorer 230 is distinguished from the other products of the manufacturer by its design and small size. The headset, that's only 5 cm long and weighs 11 grams, provides 8 hours of talk time or 9 days of standby. The flexible earband provides a comfortable wear, even after long hours, which might be highly important for many users. Thanks to the QuickPair technology the headset starts up in automatic pairing mode on the first run, so it's easy to find the headset on the phone. There is only one status LED on the front, which warns us in case of an incoming call, a missed call or when the battery level is low. The Plantronics Explorer 230, supporting Bluetooth 2.0, is expectd to be avaialable from September at a price under €50 EUR.
