The smaller South-Korean manufacturer does anything it can to earn an even better position amongst the five largest mobile phone manufacturers. One of the three new devices set to be announced soon is a netbook with a 10" display, which can automatically connect to and sync with nearby paired phones, so caller images during incoming calls can appear on the netbook's display as well, and by using the built-in microphone and speakers, we can even accept the calls from the computer. Besides these calendar entries and other event alarms also appear on the device's screen. The netbook is set to have a price of 150 dollars with subscription.
Another upcoming device is codenamed "Elva", which has only a two-line color display, but it also offers a full QWERTY keyboard. This has a blue color by default, but when sliding it towards the middle of the phone it turns orange and instead of the QWERTY keyboard we will have a classical phone keypad that can be used for making calls. The launch date of the $50 dollar device - having some really questionable features - is not yet known.
The most interesting of the recently leaked models could be "Dome", which is based on the idea of the old Nokia communicators: it seems a standard handset when closed, but after opening, we get to see its large internal display and QWERTY keyboard. This is not just any kind of QWERTY keyboard, as based on the description it has an arced design and it gets sunk into the bottom part when closed. The device, featuring a 3" display, a 3 megapixel camera, a full HTML browser and a GPS module, is expected to have a price of 149 dollars with subscription.
