Tag Heuer, known mostly for their watches, has recently announced its first handset, called Meridiist, which is going to be launched on the market of luxury phones. The stainless steel case and the sapphire crystal display really provide a feel of quality that has not yet been done by any other phone, but it's still not worth $5000 USD. Of course this price is still much lower than even the cheapest Vertu model, but of course the targeted users are also a bit different. Tag Heuer Meridiist has a 1.9" main display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and a secondary OLED screen at 96 x 76 pixels and a 2 megapixel camera.
